Profile: I love to learn and grow, and I seem to develop new interests every day! I love to perform – acting, singing, you name it (I’d love to dance if someone would teach me!). I’ll be testing for my 3rd degree black belt in a couple of years as well, and I love challenges.
2012 Goals: Hitting double growth in sales, and helping develop the UCLA team into an even more incredible force of hard-working, motivated student leaders.
Why Southwestern Advantage: Leading, influencing, and developing others – life has so much more meaning and depth when you can pass on your wisdom and principles to others who are open to learn. I still have so much more to learn about myself and about helping others reach their potential, and I am very excited about what I will learn and who I will help in 2012.
Biggest Challenge: Learning to accept my situation and be thankful in the moment – these are principles I continue to develop, and I know my success in 2012 will be determined by how consistently I practice the habit of showing gratitude and thinking creatively to find solutions to problems that arise.
Biggest Benefits: This summer I want to know that I positively impacted other people’s lives because I introduced them to Southwestern Advantage. One of the strongest reasons I do this is the people, and I can’t wait to celebrate in the fall of 2012 with our amazing UCLA team.
Interesting Fact: I have a twin brother who goes to Berkeley, and we’re pretty much identical, except he’s always been an inch or so taller. So if you’re in Oakland and you see someone who looks like me but is slightly taller with longer hair and a more laid-back demeanor, say “Hi Charles!”
